Overall this picture spreads warmth, protection and acceptance.

Vision: I like the warm glowing light in which the picture is immersed. It hightlights the spots that are most important in this work. Also I like the shadow it casts on the eggs. It also gives the impression of maternal affection.

Originality: It is not common that a human child is adopted by a mother owl. So, I think this is a very creative idea. It also happens that you can interpret a lot of things in that picture concerning myth, religion, history and symbolism. It is left open to the eye of the beholder.

Technique: The single layers and different photo elements are well placed/put. It seems that owl, nest and eggs belong together. Only the little girl sticks out. It can be seen that it was placed there on purpose as if not belonging to the whole assembly but as an accessory. There is even something odd with the hem of her dress. In front can be seen a black/yellow pointed dress with a small yellow hem - but at the girl's right side there is such a broad and big yellow hem. Perhaps would be even better to remove this litte part.

Impact: The owl as mother is dominating over the little girl as its child. So the picture conveys an overall protecting and caring role model of the owl, in this case the mother.

Overall, this is a gorgeous photomanipulation. Keep up that great work.
